On the weekend of the British Grand Prix we brought a slice of Silverstone to Southbank; giving audiences a glimpse into how technology helps the team function beyond the track.
The event focused on demonstrating how Microsoft Azure AI technology helps transform billions of telemetry data points into actionable insights for the BWT Alpine F1 team.
Guests could snap a pic at the show car display, jump into the immersive unit to experience the data, before taking a virtual lap of the track themselves on the simulator rigs.

The abstract, immersive activation put guests within the data streams and showed them how the chaos is turned into calm.
To represent this, we placed guests within a kaleidoscopic unit and bombarded them with audio and visual representations of data recorded from a lap of Silverstone.
At the very peak of this sensory overload, guests pressed the button to activate The Microsoft Moment.
This corralled the data into understandable displays, providing clear vital insights, which showed how these vast volumes of data can be analysed to inform race decisions by the BWT Alpine F1 team.
